The first step is to calculate the Kua number of the couple.
CN was born in April 1970. His Kua number is 3.
WP was born in April 1976. Her Kua number is 9.
The next step is to get the floorplan (drawn to scale) and divide the apartment into eight sectors - North(N), South(S), East(E), West(W), Northeast(NE), Northwest(NW), Southeast(SE), and Southwest(SW) as shown in the picture below:

In this case, CN's the head of the household so we'll be using his Kua number to locate the auspicious and inauspicious sectors of their home.
The four auspicious sectors based on CN's Kua number (3) are:
Sheng Chi - South;
Tien Yi - North;
Yan Nien - Southeast; and
Fu Wei - East.
The four inauspicious sectors are:
Ho Hai - Southwest(SW);
Wu Kwei - Northwest(NW);
Lui Sha - Northeast(NE); and
Chueh Ming - West(W).
So we're now able to identify the sectors.

The auspicious sectors are indicated in BLUE. The inauspicious sectors are indicated in RED.
