Never Put A Mirror Behind Your Back
The way you dress makes a statement about you. At work, many people are very mindful of the way they dress and how they look throughout the day.
Men will want to make sure their tie is in place. Women will want to touch up on their makeup from time to time.
While it's important to pay attention to grooming and check yourself in front of the mirror from time to time, don't get carried away...
If you're entertaining the thought of placing a large mirror behind your back, you might want to think twice.
Having a large mirror behind your back at your work desk adds undue stress as you'll feel like you're under constant surveillance. You get the feeling that someone's looking over your shoulder constantly.

Lighting Up Your Career
Quite a number of my friends, especially those who are working for multinational firms, are constantly concerned about their work performance - whether they're performing up to mark, whether their immediate superior appreciate what they do.
Usually our conversations revolve around discussing their key performance indicators, as well as the unwritten, "informal" behaviors that are encouraged by their immediate superior or the firm's culture.
But sometimes when we're not feeling introspective and are too lazy to think, we do talk about using Feng Shui to get that extra nudge to help advance their career.
One simple Feng Shui enhancement is to install a bright light in the East or Southeast sector of your home. Keep this light switched on most of the time. If possible, do your reading or work that you bring home under this light.
Doing so will help improve your work performance as well as get you noticed by your superior. Getting more attention from your boss may not necessarily be good news though. It implies that you jolly well live up to his or her expectations or your shortcomings/weaknesses will be easily noticed too. Be careful of what you wish for. When you get it, you may not like it.

Are You Trying To Advance Your Career By Furthering Your Studies?
Many people nowadays are furthering their studies or going for training courses to keep up with a dynamic work environment where skills and knowledge can become obsolete very quickly. Of course, for others, getting an MBA and/or a professional accreditation are seen as necessary steps to climb the corporate ladder.
If you're pursuing further studies to advance your career, you may want to activate the Knowledge sectors of your home to help you do well in your studies and get that promotion you're looking forward to.
There are two Knowledge sectors you can employ - Wen Chang and Guan Xing.
Where are these Knowledge sectors found? The locations of the Knowledge sectors can be found with reference to the direction your door faces (facing out).
If your door faces North, your Knowledge sectors are in the South (Wen Chang) and Northwest (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces South, your Knowledge sectors are in the Northeast (Wen Chang) and Center (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces East, your Knowledge sectors are in the Southwest (Wen Chang) and Northeast (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces West, your Knowledge sectors are in the Northwest (Wen Chang) and East (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces Northeast, your Knowledge sectors are in the West (Wen Chang) and Southeast (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces Southwest, your Knowledge sectors are in the North (Wen Chang) and West (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces Southeast, your Knowledge sectors are in the East (Wen Chang) and South (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.
If your door faces Northwest, your Knowledge sectors are in the Center (Wen Chang) and Southwest (Guan Xing) sectors of your house.

Locating The Auspicious And Inauspicious Sectors Of Your Home
According to Eight Mansions Feng Shui, every house can be divided into eight sectors - four auspicious and four inauspicious. Where these eight sectors are located in a house is determined by the Kua number of the head of the household.
Once you have your Kua number, you can find out which are your four auspicious sectors and which are your four inauspicious sectors.
The next step is to get hold of the house's floorplan that's drawn to scale. With a compass, determine the directions and draw a pie chart like the one illustrated below:

You'll then be able to identify the four auspicious sectors and your four inauspicious sectors for the family.

Finding Your Auspicious and Inauspicious Directions
Every one of us has four auspicious directions and four inauspicious directions. When you learn to activate your auspicious directions and avoid your inauspicious directions, you're able to improve many aspects of your life, including your health, relationships, and financial situation.
The first step of finding your auspicious and inauspicious directions is to calculate your Kua Number.
Once you've calculated your Kua number, you can refer to the chart below to find out your four auspicious directions (Sheng Chi, Tien Yi, Yan Nien, and Fu Wei) and your four inauspicious directions (Ho Hai, Wu Kwei , Lui Sha, and Chueh Ming)
The directions for male and female are different for Kua number 5. So if you're Male, you'll have to look under Column 5(M) and if you're Female, you'll have to look under the Column 5(F).

Microsoft - A Rich Man's operating system software company
I have been reading on Four Pillars of Destiny (FPD) and colors. Had been very conscious on colors and their effect recently. When I boot up my Laptop today, I notice the logo of Microsoft Windows XP Pro Operating System.
Take a look at the login screen and the logo at the top corner of your IE.
1) Login screen: red, green, blue and yellow (for the 4 curvy squares) and “Windows” wordings in white. Five elemental colors!
2) IE at top right hand corner: same four wavy squares on white background! Another proof of elements in harmony to appeal to the public who are of different elements.
Coincidence, pure luck? Who’s the logo designer? I have yet to find out. I am really amazed on the colors used.
What is more amazing than this?
Our Mr Bill Gates (found out his birth date and time: 28 Oct 1955 around 9.55pm) is actually a weak water guy. Water and Metal element is supposed to be beneficial to him. Talking about Microsoft logo and the operating system in BLUE background and WHITE wordings!
Sometimes I wonder whether this is all pre-determined or just a stroke of luck. I saw his 10-years luck pillars, so-so but generally no downturn yet. Either average luck or good luck until age 67. How true?? Now he should be 50 years old, we have to wait for another 17 years to find out, the change might occur earlier at age 62 due to an unfavorable element then.
All said though, this could be a simple case of pure coincidence; some people just seem to do the right thing at the right place in the right time (from Feng Shui Perspective). There should be other factors that contribute to the success of this software empire and her founders! Who are the founders?
PS: Wavy shape equates to water from feng shui perspective (just like fire = triangle, metal = round, etc). Number 4 should be fire element (which is his wealth).
